Digital Motion - Profile
When a meeting of minds, a shared passion for music, art and technology was brought together through a series of live jams between south Wales producer Chris Poacher & Holodeck resident Owain_K (Cardiff), “Digital Motion” was born.
Drawing inspiration from the sounds of Kraftwerk, Derrick May, U.R. and Carl Craig, the combination of Chris' production know-how with Owain's knowledge of working the floor as a DJ has placed the duo firmly on the map with their unique blend of House, Techno & Electro.
With ADSR Music label founded in 2004 thanks to the assistance of Mark Broom & Dave Hill at Pure Plastic.The duo have now had three releases to date, with support from the likes of Deetron, FunkDVoid, Slam, Dave Angel, Laurent Garnier, Vince Watson, and Josh Wink.
Their attention turned to shaping their sound for live performance, Chris and Owain are currently working on new material alongside respective solo projects, having recently completed their first re-mix for Pure Plastic offshoot Rewired.
